Bringing God’s Children Home.
Aliyah is the Hebrew word for ascending. Going up. But ascending where? Up to Jerusalem and to the Land of Israel! It’s a beautiful Biblically prophetic word that holds in its heart the meaning of answering God’s call and joining the LORD to live in the Land of Israel. Every Jew from everywhere around the world is invited!
Because this journey, this invitation is so vital to the fulfillment of Biblical prophecy and because it fulfills God’s longing to have His chosen people home, we wanted to be a part of it! What a joy to partner with God in seeing His heart comforted by His people living in their promised ancient homeland.
Isaiah 43:5-6
Do not be afraid, for I am with you;
I will bring your children from the east
and gather you from the west.
I will say to the north, ‘Give them up!’
and to the south, ‘Do not hold them back.’
Bring my sons from afar
and my daughters from the ends of the earth.”
The sometimes overlooked message of Aliyah is the role non Jews will play in this beautiful journey homeward of the Jewish people.
Isaiah 49:22
Isaiah 49:22
This is what the Lord GOD says: “Behold, I will lift up My hand to the nations And set up My flag to the peoples; And they will bring your sons in their arms, And your daughters will be carried on theirshoulders.
Jewish people continue to this to make Aliyah (immigration to Israel). All through the centuries there has been a Jewish presence in the Holy Land. Every year approximately 30,000 Jews answer the call to come home to live in Israel, many from dangerous and life threatening places. It’s a joy and privilege to lock arms and join hearts to rescue and restore our Jewish brothers and sisters through aiding in Aliyah.
