Emergency Funding
Through out the year people reach out to us and to our partners in Israel when a crisis happens to them and there is no where to turn. Israel is especially vulnerable.
Disaster can strike at any time. In a matter of hours, vulnerable children and their families can be uprooted from their homes and their means of income completely wiped out. Many times the Government is forced to cut funding to these at risk populations such as the elderly, young families and Holocaust Survivors.
From natural disasters such as fires that are on-going in the summer to man-made emergencies such as war and unrest, lives are placed at risk by volatile situations that evolve rapidly. Due to Israel’s economic situation as of late, many families are without jobs and thus even the basic staples of living.
But together we have the power to help these people with lifesaving relief.
