ACWI Shop Israel-Give Hope Initiative October 19-24, 2020

The Nation of Israel went into a second shutdown mid-September, at the start of the fall holy season, to bring down infection rates. Once again, businesses and employees are facing uncertain times. Deborah the Brave Ministries and its outreach ‘Alliance of Christian Women for Israel’ is teaming with stunning fashions from Israeli designer, Dorin Frankfurt to bring hope to Jews needing to make “Aliyah” to Israel.

For 36 years Dorin Frankfurt has produced beautiful fashions inspired by the beauty and history of the Holy Land. Over the years, it has grown into a nation-wide fashion brand. Since the beginning, Dorin decided to employ people in the surrounding neighborhood in Tel Aviv where her factory is located. Some of which are single mothers and women at risk, with several having been employed 33 years.

The Aliyah figures for August 2020 tells the story. North America saw a 238 % year-on-year rise in the number of requests to make Aliyah. Britain saw a 165% year-on-year rise. Applications from South Africa doubled. Overall, twice as many Aliyah applications were opened in western nations than in 2019. “This is the tip of the iceberg,” Jewish Agency Chairman Isaac Herzog was quoted saying.

Shopping Dorin Frankfurt’s online store will bring hope to her employees during this trying time as she has had to close her 11 stores in Israel and can only employee people to handle online orders, website updates and social media outlets during the nation’s forced shutdown. When shopping, be sure to use the special code at checkout and 7% of the sales will be donated to ACWI to be utilized in helping Jews make Aliyah to Israel.
