The Bible Comes to Life

What an extraordinary time I had in Israel at the Alliance of Christian Women for Israel Inaugural summit. Rebecca and her team did a fabulous job choosing beautiful hotels, the food was totally amazing, the King David room where we met for worship, teaching and fellowship was spectacular and the view of the old city in Jerusalem was absolutely breathtaking.

There’s no way I can describe the sights, the sounds and even the smells as I walked through the old city of Jerusalem.

Israel has a way of speaking to me. And just to name a few highlights, laying my hands on the western wall to pray, seeing the city of David, Praying in the garden of Gethsemane, and to walk and pray on the temple mount, all these are moments of a lifetime!

And how do you describe the sea of Galilee, riding the boat across the sea, worshiping with ladies from all over the world, and to see other country’s flags flying in unison with the Israeli flag was simply beautiful. The Jordan River, Nazareth, and speaking over the land at Mt Carmel…..totally heart stirring! The Lord’s presence was evident many times, places and in many moments, frankly, it’s difficult to include them all.

How awe-inspiring it was to meet Dvora Ganani with the Jewish Agency for Israel, to visit the IAF squadron 69, to visit with new Jewish immigrants from Ethiopia and around the world at the absorption centers, meeting and hearing the stories of lone soldiers, and to meet the President’s Liaison pledging to her our love and solidarity with Israel was truly a remarkable moment!!

The Lord dropped a heart stirring message into me while Misty Edwards was leading us in praise and worship. I now clearly see that Father God’s heart yearns for Israel to turn back to him and love him. I believe that when we pray and intercede for his heart he takes care of our hearts. I see the Lord is regathering his people back to their land and Christians owe a huge debt to Israel and Jerusalem. Praying for Israel is KEY!

It’s evident that the Alliance of Christian Women for Israel is here for such a time as this!! The Lord has strategically placed us all over the world to be a beacon for him as we stand up and speak out on behalf of Israel! We’re His watchmen on the walls as we pray “focused prayers” for the Jewish people to come to know their Messiah.

I couldn’t have hand picked a better group of Holy Spirit filled, power packed and mighty women of God than the group I was honored and blessed to be with. The divine connections that were made were God ordained!! What a privilege it is to be a part of what God is doing in this “season of the last days”.  I pinch myself daily as I realize we’re a group of women called into service on a higher plane, not to men, but to God Himself, by helping to carry the Jewish people home, to their home ~ ISRAEL!!!
